Besides being co-owner of Dixie, Gwen is a member and past President of NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction), Southwest Florida, Chapter #297

Dixie participates and co-sponsors the NAWIC's Block Kids Building Contest where young contractors (1st & 2nd Graders) are encouraged to use their imagination and creativity in a contest which teaches them about the construction industry.

Bryan has more than 40 years in the steel construction industry in Southwest Florida and is a State Certified General Contractor (since 1984), but specializes in structural steel.

Dixie provides their own shop fabrication drawings and field erection drawings. Drawings are prepared by experienced structural steel detailers such as Dennis Riggs of Denrig, Inc. who has over 35 years experience in detailing of structural and miscellaneous metals.
