What are we to do with all those empty steel shipping containers stacking up in warehouses around the United States?

It is not easy being green... or is it?  Why not help out the environment?  Be "green"... have Dixie Structures design and build your dream home, office, studio, clinic, store, restaurant, emergency (hurricane) shelter, cabin, honey house, or workshop.  We build it  at our site, ship it to your location, weld it together for an almost instant structure.

Talk about strong!  These containers are ideal in many ways.  They are strong, durable, plentiful, cheap, and stackable.  If you decide you want to move, have them disassembled, moved to your new location, and reassembled.

Why are they so cheap and plentiful... and why are they accumulating in the United States?  Because, there is a great imbalance in manufactured goods (we bring in more than we ship out... and it too expensive to ship empties back overseas).  So let us (and you) take advantage of this situation and recycle the containers into something useful.

Not just anybody can do this, because it involves designing, cutting, welding, lifting, and trucking.  Hey, that is exactly what we do best!  No problem for us.
